Refund Policy

1. Digital Product Nature

Thank you for purchasing a membership to WSCMate ("Site"). The products offered, including but not limited to the World Scholar's Cup (WSC) Season Guide, practice questions, and assessment guidance ("Digital Content"), are intangible digital goods delivered instantly upon successful payment. As such, our refund policy differs from that of physical goods.

2. Refund Eligibility

We offer a refund under the following strictly defined condition:

  • 7-Day Cooling-Off Period: You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days from the date of purchase, provided that you have not generated significant learning and traffic footprints on the member-exclusive area.

We reserve the right to deny a refund request if our system logs indicate any of the following activity: downloading any core syllabus documents/PDFs, completing more than two (2) sets of practice questions, or accessing more than three (3) member-only guidance pages. This strict policy is in place to protect our intellectual property from "purchase, copy, and immediate refund" abuse.

3. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • More than 7 calendar days have passed since the purchase date.
  • The cooling-off period has not passed, but your account activity indicates the member area has been accessed and core materials used.
  • Refund requests based on a change of mind after extensive use.
  • Technical issues on your side (e.g., slow internet, incompatible device). We will, however, make reasonable efforts to help you resolve access problems.

4. How to Request a Refund

Send a request to support@wscmate.com with the subject "Refund Request - [Order ID]". Please include your name, registered email, and payment date. We will review and respond within 3 business days.

5. Chargebacks (Payment Disputes)

If you experience an issue, please contact us first for a resolution. Filing a payment dispute (chargeback) with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us is a breach of this policy. We reserve the right to permanently disable your account and access if a fraudulent chargeback is filed for a payment that is not eligible for a refund under these terms.

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. The membership access will be revoked concurrently.
